We have many events that often happen in the Spring and Summer to prepare our incoming Kindergarten students. Your local library also hosts events to prepare for kindergarten!
Parents will receive a general overview of Kindergarten and have the opportunity to ask questions. Students are invited! They will have the chance to take a bus ride and tour a classroom!
Students will be invited to visit the playground and meet some friends and teachers! Kindergarteners will get a popsicle as a treat at the end! The PTA will have a table set up to buy “Waterloo’s Newest Wildcat” tee shirts and answer questions!
Students will get to see the inside of a classroom and participate in four rotations: books, drawing, blocks, and centers. Parents will be in the Media Center relaxing and filling out some Kindergarten forms!

We will have information about the kindergarten schedule, routines, and expectations. The team will answer questions about what kindergarten will look like for your new student!
