Mon, 09/25/2017 - 10:58am

This is Kindness Challenge Spirit Week

The Great Kindness Challenge is a proactive and positive bullying prevention initiative that improves school climate and increases student engagement.  Waterloo's Goal for the challenge is to record 8,000 acts of kindness in 5 days!  Look for your student's pink Great Kindness Challenge checklist that was sent home with more information last week.  Students will check off kind acts as they are completed throughout the week at home, community, or school.

To go along with the Great Kindness Challenge we are having our first Waterloo Spirit Week:

Monday is Kicking off Kindness by wearing mis-match socks and/or shoes

Tuesday is Kindness Counts wear any clothing with numbers (team sports jerseys, shirts with number graphics)

Wednesday is Ride the Wave of Kindness  wear clothes with a Hawaiian/beach motif (clothing with flowers/beach colors, water scenes, etc)

Thursday is Dreaming of Kindness wear pajamas, or comfy clothing to school

Friday is Make Kindness a Pattern and wear any clothes with patterns (polka dots, stripes, plaid, etc.)

Let's work as a school to spread kindness!!!
