Math:
- Go to http://smart.hcpss.wikispaces.net for math games and to view the new curriculum standards
- Math homework will be completed in your childís math journal.
- Expect math homework Monday-Thursday nights.

Reading:
- Reading group books will be brought home Tuesday through Thursday and will be returned the next day.
|
Spelling (Words Their Way):
- Homework instructions are glued in your childís spelling journal
- Spelling homework will start September 24th
- Each spelling list will last for two weeks. Week one will focus on spelling. Week two will focus on application of vocabulary.
- Expect spelling homework Monday-Thursday nights.

Other Important Notes
***If your child is buying lunch, please send money in a ziploc bag labeled with your child's name.
***Please check the daily homework folder for teacher notes and graded work each night. This folder is also a good way to send notes to school to communicate with your child's teacher.
